Tucson’s Painted Walls: The Mural Archive You Didn’t Know You Needed

Before I stepped in, Jerry Peek spent over two decades documenting Tucson’s murals on his blog and he didn’t stop there. He also built a Google Map linking each mural location to blog posts, photos, and stories. It’s an incredible resource, and it’s been viewed more than 155,000 times.

Every pin is a piece of Tucson’s public art history. Some murals are still up. Others are long gone. The map is part archive, part treasure hunt.

I’ll be referring to it often as this site grows, but for now, I just wanted to share it. It’s a legacy in its own right, and it’s worth a peek… (you know, Jerry Peek hehe)
